Forest Therapy Trail

What is Forest Therapy?
Forest Therapy is an immersive forest practice that, through solid scientific research and the guidance of qualified professionals, enhances health and well-being by focusing on the senses in the most suitable forest environments. This practice helps lower blood pressure, improves mood by reducing stress, boosts the immune system, and enhances cognitive functions such as attention and memory.

Thanks to the FOR.SA – Forests and Health project, funded by the Rural Development Program of the Tuscany Region and coordinated by Foresta Modello Montagne Fiorentine, you can participate in the first public and free forest therapy session, following the method developed by CNR, CERFIT, and CAI.

The session will be held on the Croce ai Mori trail, at the southwest border of the Parco Nazionale delle Foreste Casentinesi, Monte Falterona, and Campigna.
